Rabbit

Always robed, Rabbit is an ominous techno-mage of the 9 clan and one of the last surviving elder mages, who remember the Corpo-Foss war. He is often seen accompanied by Acme, a horsebird. He is the teacher of Nine, a child of the Primitivist Tribe.

Multi-purpose text editor and horsebird.

Rabbit was the only techno-mage to answer the call for help of the Primitivist tribe, preceeding its destruction by MATA, rescuing Nine and eventually educating them in the art of front magic.

Rabbit is on MATACORP's list of top 10 most wanted hackers. He refuses to acknowledge the divinity of the Spirit of the Machine.

History

During the Corpo-FOSS war, Rabbit, like many other hackers and techno-mages, served under the FOSS banner. Due to his vast experience, he was instrumental in several covert operations. During his time in the FOSS army he grew disillusioned with the politics of mainstream proponents of machine freedom. After the war he wandered the free world and provided services to its people until eventually becoming a teacher of Nine.

Acme

Rabbit's trusted companion and steed is a text window system and a horsebird named Acme compiled with a custom pink color theme.

Appearances

Apart for a variety of single underscore images, Rabbit appeared in various flashbacks. He was also the first techno-mage Girl encountered in the very first comic issue since becoming the student of FISH. Currently most of Rabbit's appearances are consolidated in the special Child of 9 issue.
