Hendrik Magenta

Hendrik Magenta was the last president of the United Corporate States of EurAmericAfrica.

Born into the prominent Magenta family in Salzburg, Austria, Magenta attended the University of Vienna, where he received his MBA degree. Following his academic success, he began working in his father's company, where he quickly climbed the corporate ladder, becoming the COO in mere 4 months.

When he announced his aspirations to run for president, his company made sure he'd win the race by purchasing 97% of all adspace across every digital medium. Nobody remembers who he ran against.

Despite his affluent background, Magenta was a fairly charismatic leader with very little actual power. After the abolishment of his office, for the few months that lead up to the end of the world, he was fondly remembered by some. Most didn't care.

CEO of Magenta Clothing

Following the death of his father, Magenta became the CEO of Magenta Clothing. Feeling under-appreciated in the position of such a valuable member of the corporate society, he sought the presidential office.

The last president of the UCSEAA

For the most part, Magenta was effectively a talking head. All of the decisions of the UCSEAA were decided by its board of directors and major investors. The last of political scientists of his time all agreed that he didn't really do anything, but that he looked good while not doing it.

MATA acquisition

After MATACORP acquired the UCSEAA, the office of the President of the United Corporate States of EurAmericAfrica was abolished. It was replaced by the Office of the CEO-President of MATACORP with Sacc Bagari as the first ruler. Having invested in MATA stock for years, Magenta retired as the second wealthiest man on the planet and set out to write a book of memoirs. The book "Leaving with Dignity" was never finished.

Death

Hendrik Magenta died, along with his wife and 4 of his 12 children, while vacationing in the Swiss alps, during a nuclear strike on Zurich.
